Monday - Research for topic in computer lab Tuesday - Complete outline Wednesday - Finish research and outline; outline due for a grade Thursday - Finish typing rough drafts. Printed copy with rhetorical devices and appeals highlighted and labeled when you give your speech tomorrow. Friday - Speeches due in class

Tuesday - Gettysburg Address rhetorical appeals Wednesday - Gettysburg Address Speech Quiz Thursday - Gettysburg Address Quiz Recovery/Review of Rhetorical Devices from Monday Friday - Start work on MLK "I Have a Dream Speech" We will be transitioning from The Crucible to reading speeches and finding rhetorical devices to understand how authors use them to make the speeches more effective.
